Every new chemistry, HV battery pack, or application can mean another redesign and validation cycle—costing time and budget.

Lithostack builds the edge electronics of the BMS. Edge devices measure and switch at the HV battery pack, and control stays with the vehicle or site. Each HV battery pack takes the edge devices it needs, and adapts and scales without starting from scratch.

It’s the idea behind the name Lithostack. Lithos is Greek for stone, joined here with lithium. Build one well-placed block at a time, each ready to do its job and fit with what comes next.

20years

BMS Products & Functional Safety

A cofounder with nearly 20 years in safety-critical embedded systems, more than 10 of them building battery management products: from the system and its safety concept down to its software, delivered to ASIL D, including AUTOSAR software components and complex device drivers. He is the architect of Lithostack’s product.

15years

Electronics Hardware

A cofounder with 15 years in hardware design and development, and the sole hardware designer behind several variants of an ASIL D high-voltage monitoring product for battery management. The work spans analog, digital and power electronics for current and high-voltage sensing and battery module hardware, taken through validation and EMC/EMI qualification into production.

12years

BMS Software & Battery Algorithms

A cofounder with 12 years in automotive embedded software, more than 5 of them on battery management alone: battery and ageing models, state estimation, and software written, integrated and verified across its layers. That BMS software went into series production in more than 24 battery programmes. Also brings the customer’s side: customer engineering, product management and market research.

10years

Electrification & Energy Storage

A cofounder with more than 10 years in battery systems, who has owned electrification programmes from concept to series production. He has worked at both a carmaker and a supplier, electrifying sports cars and trucks for renowned European brands and delivering grid-scale energy storage. The systems he delivered met ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R100 and the EU Battery Regulation, and he makes sure Lithostack’s products comply with every norm a battery system must meet.
